I will be starting my second cycle of Clomid 10/28!

Got my af today after using Provera-so now its just a waiting game to start the Clomid on wednesday.
In the mean time (and since I was diagnosed with PCOS 9/09) I've really been trying to get my health under control. I have to remind myself that I can only control certain things. Yes I can take my meds but I can't make myslef ovulate. I can't control it! So I try to focus on what Ican control like working out and eating very healthy. I've been forcing myself to get up early and going to the gym for an hour before work. Also I've been really trying to only eat foods that are beneficial for combating my pcos.

I didn't have any clomid side effects -- maybe a little moodiness but probably about what an average person would call PMS. But, maybe I didn't have side effects b/c I didn't ovulate.... I'm increasing my dose and doing an HCG trigger shot this month I think. This month I was on break and taking Yaz while I did all the RE blood tests, HSG, etc, and now my AF cramps have been horrible for the past 3 days at least. And I woke up this morning to find AF had escaped the pad to leave a ugly stain on my sheets, which hasn't happened in ages either. I rarely get AF cramps and never are they continuous like this. Then again, I don't have a regular AF so maybe this is what it's like to be "normal" (whatever normal means).
After the month off, I am so ready to get going again. this whole process breeds (pun intended) patience if nothing else.

My u/s and b/w was good so I started my clomid yesterday. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. I have an appt Nov. 4 to check if my follicles are responding. Zoesmom - are you using OPKs or temping? I recommend both especially if you're unmonitored. You could start temping now before you get too much further in your cycle. Good luck!
