Default Started Loestrin Fe 24 and getting period every 2 weeks

I started Loestrin Fe 24 about 2 and a half months ago and ever since I have been getting my period every 2 weeks. The one that I get in while still taking the white pills is very light, I don't have to use a tampon and lasts for 4 to 7 days and then I get the normal 4 day period on the brown pills. Has anyone had this problem before? I have a doctors appointment for next week but was just looking for ideas in the mean time.
Thanks,
Jenni

I'm on loestrin and that same thing happened to me the first month. For the last month i've had my period steady everyday, not heavy enough for a maxi pad, just enough for a panty liner. According to my dr. sometimes it takes up to 3 months for it to fully kick into your system.

Hope it wasn't tmi, keep me updated about what your doctor says.

Well I was going to start Loestrin today but now that I have seen this thread I'm not too sure anymore. I was on Yasmin which I had no side effects on but my doctor (a new GYN) gave me 3 sample packs of Loestrin so I thought I would go ahead and try them out. But now I am scared.

If it aint broke don't fix it! When I find something that works really well for me, I stick with it for as long as my body will respond positively to it! xx

For those of you bleeding every 2 weeks while on this pill - how often do you bleed when not on BCP?
