Default Started to miscarry on the 1st and still....

I just had a question for you ladies... I started to miscarry on Feb. 1st. at 7 weeks. I started spotting on Sunday (the 1st) and started to bleed heavy on Wednesday. On Friday of that week I passed a clot and took it in to the doctors office. Anyway I am still bleeding and it is still heavy like a period. And then to top it all off I passed another clot this evening. I knew that it could take a little while to get over this but I mean come on!! It has been three weeks and now I passed another clot. I am going to call the office in the morning and see what they say, I am thinking about asking if a D&C would be an option.

Any help would be great. Thanks!!

Merandas

D&C is an option, but it's under GA and if you can avoid that it will be better in the long run for you.
I bled for about 7/8 days like a heavy period after i passed a 'clot'.
Then it tailed off.
Now it has stopped altogether.
I think you are almost there, i know it sucks, but it will soon be over and you can start building your life back up again.

Are you getting any pains in your pelvic area now or has that all stopped???

Good luck!!

Sam.

I think it's a good time to check in with the doctor or nurse about it. Eventually you can become anemic or have other problems when it goes so long. I'm really sorry!! (((Hugs)))

Thank you for your replies. I am still having a little cramping and backpain but it is nothing major. I am waiting for the nurse to call. It just sucks that it is taking so long, just a constant reminder...

The bleeding varies so much. For my first loss I bled as long as a regular AF. My recent loss I bled from Oct 19th - Dec 31...was give pills, had a D&C, and finally the Mexotrexate shot to end it all. I am sorry for your loss and hope it ends soon.

My aunt had this same thing happen...it turned out that it was twins and one just happened to hang on a few weeks longer than the other. I hate to bring this up as a "might be" but its the only thing I know of that could explain it. I'm sorry about your loss. I've been there 3 times myself. You're in my prayers.
