Default Started Miscarrying Yesterday

I found out on Thursday I was pregnant, only to find out Saturday that my HCG levels were going down. I started having bad cramps yesterday, and also started bleeding pretty heavily. My first loss was at 21 weeks, and then I actually delivered the babies, so I don't know what to expect from this early of a loss.

How long should the bleeding last? Do they do any tests to make sure everything has passed? I am really sad about the loss, however, I am also excited at the same time, because this is the first time in the four years I have been trying, that I got pregnant on my own. It gives me hope that I can get pregnant.

Traci

Unhappy So Sorry.

Hello Traci:
I thought I'd be the first to say, I'm so
sorry for U're loss It may not seem this
way now, but take it from me it will get
better as time goes on. I had a miscarriage
on 5/28. I thought I would NEVER cope with
the lost of my little angel, but it becomes
easier with every passing day. Keep U're
head up high, and U're cmpletely right. U
did get pregnant on U're own. And that
U can be greatful for!
Hang in there!!!!

Post Forgot to mention.

Tracy:
I forgot to respond to U're
question about how long it takes
for an early loss, and if there are
any test. As I mentioned before, it
I miscarried on 5/28/03. It had had
exactly 6 weeks of bleeding. I was
only 7Wks. My Dr. let me go natural.
I had to go into to get an HCG drawn
to make sure that my levels were
dropping normally.
Take Care!

As irahmanm said - they should run beta's to make sure the HCG is zero. As for the bleeding - everyone is different. Since it is a early loss - it should not be too bad. (((HUGS)))
