I don't think met works that fast! I'm sure it was coincidence if it did happen. Metformin helps regulate your hormones so that everything plays together like they should. If you start out at the right dosage (and everyone is different, so it could be hard to hit it right at first) it might not take long, but I wouldn't think same day AF. Someone on the board got PG from an O about 14 days after starting, that's the fastest I've heard.
