My doc gave me a starter pack/prescription of Yasmin, and just told me it was ok to start. The instructions say to start the Sunday after AF begins. But I don't get AF w/o BCPs! So is it okay to start anytime?

I tried to call her office, but they told me to make an appointment if I have any questions, and a trip to her office is 2hours round-trip, and I don't really have money for the copay.

Help!

I started Yasmin about three months ago. I don't get AF without BCP for Provera either. I just started taking it the day I picked it up. You're right, you can't start after af if you have not af unless you start it --ya know. Good luck!

I'm still a little confused, though. My doc said that Yasmin would help with the excess hair/hair loss. But I've read stories, and the package insert, that say it can make the hair loss worse!

I don't want to take it if it's going to make me go bald faster. Anybody have any insight on this one?
