Starting Clomid

Hi all,

I started clomid (100mg) last night, and am so excited! My son was conceived on clomid, third cycle but first at 100mg, so I am going into this confident. Anyone else taking Clomid this week? It's a long month of waiting ahead, and I'd love a buddy!

Also, anyone had success getting pregnant on Clomid for the second time, and if so, how long did it take the second time?

I started clomid 100 on Thursday so today is my second day off the pill. Weird thing for me is that i'm nauseous, i thought it was kind of early because last time i was on 50mg and got very sick about a week later.

I haven't gotten naseaus from the clomid, but then again I probably wouldn't notice because the metformin makes me so naseaus all the time. I think it is common to get side effects with Clomid as you take the pills, and the higher the dosage, the stronger the effects. Last time I got really, really moody and irritable starting after the third pill each time (and I just took the third pills today, so tomorrow might be a bad day). My husband calls it the crazies because I'm really not myself on this medicine, and I have a long day at work tomorrow so I hope I'm not too irrational. But, it's all worth it if we get our BFPs!

Hello! I start my first round tomorrow. (50mg) I am kind of nervous about potential side affects.

Good luck Pookie! I didn't have any bad side effects on 50mg... at 100mg it started. Also, I've found the mood swings were far easier to control this time as I was looking out for them. I am now on day 15, so hoping ovulation occurs today or tomorrow and then onto the 2ww. My biggest concern now is that my temps were all strange this month. Normally I am at 97.4-97.6 before ovulation, wiht a dip on ovulation day and then 98.2-98.6 post ovulation. But this month I have been hovering between 97.7-98.1 since CD1, with no real change on CD15. I'm concerned I won't notice a shift, or worse, I won't ovulate.

I'd love to join! I'm starting clomid tonight days 5-9, I went for an ultrasound on cd3 Friday 10/16 and I had 3 follies each >10mm on the right and left ovaries and a dominant 15mm on the right. I go back Friday 10/23 for more BW. I'm hoping that one will mature, when I took clomid before I only had folllies this big before trigger shot.

Hello can I join your thread, I've been trying to talk to people on here but no replys I started my second round of clomid 10-19, I'm a little upset but also I've read that a lot of people have gotten pg after they quit the next month. Just looking for someone to help me through and that I can help them through.

Hello everyone first of all good luck to you all on your clomid. I am on a bit of a strange dose 25mg days 2-6 but I think its down to my age and the fact I have been pg before naturally so trying to limit the possibilities of multiples lol. I started af on the 24th so tomorrow the 29th will be my last does and then the baby making fun can begin

The only side effects I have had are headaches, I do seriously feel like my head is going to explode

and this is ona low dose so I can't imagine what it would be like if i was on the normal 50mg :S
