Hey! I am looking for some advice or success stories as I'm going on Clomid here pretty soon.

I'm a little worried about my weight - I work out regularly, and I'm steadily losing, plus on a lower carb diet. I take metformin, AND I have the lap band. (Geez, I know right??) But I am 5'2", 200lbs, and size 16. I am going to lose MORE weight as I continue the (probably THREE) cycles of Clomid.

I was having a weird period, so they gave me a shot of Progesterone to make it stop, that way I can start anew in a few days and start Clomid (actually clomephine) right after.

Any of you get preggo with Clomid/Metformin combo? How heavy were you? How's it going??

i haven't been on clomid, but i have heard a lot of success stories with that combo. i'd say it's the most successful combo there is. you should ask this on the pregnancy board, i'll bet you get a ton of answers. good luck to you!

I was on both when I got pregnant first try at 50 mg. I was/am about 150 at 5'2'' I don't think it would have happened without the both of those pills

ive had sucess off clomid even though it ended in m/c, but im not giving up hope im around 19 stone cant convert into pounds. good luck

april.. did they give you a pg test to make sure you weren't pg? Last time I had a weird period, it was an early miscarriage.
