Starting Clomid Nov 2, anyone else?

Hello Ladies, I am new to this site and am starting my 3rd round of clomid November 2 and wanted to know if anyone else is to, so we can talk about it. I did my first and second rounds in July and August and then skipped Sept to have an HSG test done. Everything was fine. I ovulated both times on clomid but did not conceive. I am taking 100mg days 5-9 of my cycle. I just took provera to start AF and 3 days in I got it, usually it takes all 10 days but not this time. I am thinking I was going to start on my own, just very late I just jumped the gun on the provera. I got my AF Aug and Sept all on my own after taking clomid which was really exciting since I had never gotten it before except when on birth control. I am looking forward to talking to others during this cycle, I felt I was alone through my last 2 cycles and would love to have others going through the same things I am. DH doesn't understand. LOL

hey I am also starting clomid on nov 2 after six failed doses now my doctor has put me on 150mg since i ovulated last time when in to labour a 5.5 months had a little girl in jan so anyways nice to meet you keep in touch

Wow Tammy, I read your profile and am truly sorry to hear about your baby girl. It is nice to hear that you are back and trying again though. I am happy to be here going through it with you. I am hoping 3rd round is a charm for me and hope this is it for you too!! Good luck to you, keep in touch, post whenever you can, I'll be checking in everyday!!

I'm on my second round of Clomid, 100mg and started my first pill last Tuesday.

Tammy, I am on 100 mg days 5-9 of my cycle. I did the 50 mg and did not ovulate but have done 2 rounds on 100 mg and ovulated.
I am doing ok a little grumpy, today is my 3rd day on clomid this cycle and I have a lot of CM which I don't remember the last 2 times, but I could be wrong, maybe I had it. Do you have anything like this?
How are you feeling?

I am doing good just tired thats all i take clomid on day 3-7 the only side affects that i usually get it dizziness and tired have you tried the opk test or the ov watch. So I talked to my fertility doc yesterday i have to go in on nov 13 for an u/s have you had and early u/s before you blood test

I just had an u/s on CD11; I didn't have anything over 10/11mm. They want at least 16mm on that day before triggering. I go back again on Monday to see if any made it to 16. Follies can grow 1-3 mm a day, so fingers crossed!
I've got the dreaded moodiness this cycle. Was a COMPLETE witch CD6-8. Seem to be me again now.

Tammy, I am really tired, dizzy and grumpy too, my DH asked if I was "feeling ok" that's his nice way of telling me I am being grumpy LOL
I will start my opk tests 4 days after my last pill, at least that is what all the clomid sites are telling me to do. I usually ovulate around 10 days after my last pill. My doctor has not mentioned anything about an u/s which I have heard a lot of women getting when they are on clomid, also she is not ordering any blood work to see if I ovulated. This is a new doctor and her first month putting me on clomid, so maybe she wants to wait and see how this month goes and then she will watch next month. The problem is I am changing insurance in January to Kaiser so now I will have a new doctor and who knows what they will do next.

My RE doesn't do u/s unless she is doing an IUI or IVF, only a P4. You may want to call and see if they will do a P4. My RE found mine to be low, so even though I O'd on CD15 she upped my dose. From what I read that's good since I seem to have an LP deficiency. The 3 times I O'd it was CD9,11,11. The Clomid should fix that and help with my progesterone level.

Oh I see, so u/s are usually only done when you are doing IVF or IUI. My Dr says she will do 2 rounds of IUI after 4 of clomid, so I am not there yet. Thanks for the info!!

It's mainly up to your DR. My RE recommended 3 rounds of clomid and then injectables. I asked about femara if clomid didn't work and she was fine with that. I asked about an IUI on a 4th round, which she was fine with.
Clomid worked the 1st round, I requested an IUI the 2nd round and that's what we are doing this week. :-)
If you want to be more agressive and it's covered or you can afford it then ask your DR. They might be fine with being more aggresive.

She wants to see me if I don't get pregnant this month and then I will see what she wants to do next, but I will be changing insurance as of Jan 1st so I don't think she will even have time to do anything next month. I will have to start all over again with a new doctor. My husband wants to go more aggressive after the first of the year, he is already thinking IVF, but I would rather not spend the money if we could do IUI first. So we will see what happens. Hopefully we all just get pregnant in time to tell the family for Christmas!!

How is everyone doing? I ovulated yesterday!! today I took another test and that was it, it came as quickly as it left, I had some twinging pains in my abdomen so hopefully it was a good sign. I BD Nov 13 and day of ovulation 15th, so hopefully that will do it. It snuck up on me pretty quick, I thought I had at least 4 more days, but this month it was early.
