Default Starting a family?

Just curious about how rainbowed PCOS sisters have handled the baby issue. As my partner is the "butch" one, and not interested in carrrying a child herself, it has always been unspoken that it would be me. And I would be thrilled! However with my PCOS and atrophied uterus, even if I can get pregnant there is a risk of miscarriage (my uterus is very weak). We both really want a family so we're looking at all options....trying to conceive, adoption, ......
Anyone's experiences with this? Interested to hear how other PCOS couples have had children. Thanks
