I'm doing one cycle of injectables/IUI at Heartland this summer. What should I expect? What is the typical protocol? I have an appointment with my specialist in a few weeks so that we can set this all up, but I'd like to get a better idea of what to expect, first.

I did 4 injectible iui cycles.
All cycles were done using letrozole & Puregon.
each cycle varied with dosage because the RE that we were dealing with wanted to take "baby steps" and wasted our time, & money.
The only cycle out of the four that had even the slightest of chances was the last one but I think there was something wrong with the sperm wash because I spent a week in bed dying from cramping.
The needles were easy, figuring out dosage was simple & the cycles were emotionally ups and downs. The bigthing is to try and keep control of yourself emotionally and it should be a smooth ride for the cycle.
