Question starting met again after ovarian drilling, abit graphic!

Hi everyone

I had stopped taking met for a month before and a month after my drilling op and went back on it last week, I was hoping the op might work itself but it doesnt look like it. I said I would start on 500mg and work my way up but on the 2nd day of taking it I got really sick and had really bad diarrhoea, I was never like this when I started the met the first time and then I went and started at 1000mg, so I left the met for 2 days and then started it again and the same thing happened but this time I didnt get sick but I had to other problems
My question is this, should I persevere on the met will the symptoms go away, its just I feel like crap on the met but yet dont want to give up on it, any advice ladies

Hello Buddy

YES you must keep going with the Met, I know its hard but It could really improve your chances of Ovulation. My symptoms lasted about 2 weeks (sorry) It go so bad I called my GP in tears saying I cant take these pills anymore, he was a little abrupt with me he said "DO YO WANT A BABY OR NOT" I said yes more than anything, he said in that case you must keep taking them the symptoms will pass, and make sure you take them with food. About a week after this, I felt fine no symptoms at all.

good luck

Lynn x
