First day back at work today from 2 weeks off, I got up an extra half hour this morning (4.00am!) for work so i could have some breakfast and such! Stop me from hitting the munchies halfway through the day
All is well this week, i plan to lose about 1-1.5 lbs anything extra is a bonus! Will be a bit disheartneed if i stay teh same.....AGAIN!

I have started (again) my diet for this week and I shall have to see how long it lasts this time, had a huge chinese meal this weekend suffering for it now though !! if you know what I mean !! ha ha. Anyway good luck every one lets hope the fat fairy comes to take it all away !!
yes, so far so good, been eating really healthy so far - even managed to get 3 fruit in - and it's only lunch time.
j- i looove soup.
scottish-chick - well done on getting up at 4 for breakfast
sarah louise - sorry about the side effects of the take away. I get the same.
Well, weigh in day is upon us! I weighed this morning and probably my long term goal is to lose 50lbs, but I don't really want to set myself up to fail, so I'm just going to take it as it comes. I would like to lose 1-2lbs a week, but I tend to lose quite a bit one week, then stall the next and so it continues, so I'm not going to stress out about it, I'm just going with the flow!
Good luck to everyone

I have already been naughty today i had
nuffin for breakfast as i got up late
for lunch half a bowl of chicken soup
then a random jam sanwich (slap my hand)
then a mini ice lollie
then dinner was spac bowl with whole meal pasta, lean mince with the fat drained and that ragoo sauce thing with extra chopped tomatoes and a muller light yoghurt
I feel soo naughty but better for confessing

siany - well done, 3 lb is brilliant
j- i like to put things in my soup. Like curry powder or some strong flavour to it. Lean mince is great with the fat taken off. Everything takes time
eva
Eva thats a good idea I might try it. I really want to do well this time but i think the reason i done bad the other times is because i was like wanting to lose about 5 pound a week which is jus not realstic then i quit because of lack of will power but hopefully fingers crossed i will do well
im hoping to lose bout 70 pounds

i know, it's so easy to get discouraged when the weight doesnt come off quick enough..... been there myself........ soup with curry tastes good, and you can put as much/ or little curry as you want.

My cambridge counsellor couldn't fit me in today so I'm going tomorrow, will post the official results then.
My results say 2-3lbs off and since 8/01/07 a total of 11 inches (that's very nearly a foot!)
Back on my unending water drinking, only down side is I'm pee-ing like a shire horse!!
Speak tomorrow

I am very pleased with myself I was ever such a good girl yesterday all I ate was fresh fruit, tons of veg and some lean chicken, 20 minutes of yoga followed by 20 lengths swimming !!! Not sure how long this will last though because I was a very naughty girl on the weekend.
j_gormo I really do hope that you lose the 70lbs it does seem like a huge hill to climb (I have about 60lbs to lose) but went you get to the top all the hard work will be worth while !!
Ratbag I know what you mean about peeing like a shire horse !!! I think that I walked about 5 miles yesterday from just going back and fro to the toilet !
Feeling very positive today about the whole losing weight looking great thing !! So I am going to pass my positive feelings on you guys !!
It's good to see that everyone's starting on such a positive note.
I started "being good" last week and so far I've lost 4lbs, although I had my period last week so some of that will have been water retention. Its a huge boost though as I'm finally below the 15 stone mark. I HAVE to lose weight for 2 reasons - I'm going to be a bridesmaid in September for one of my best friends and I don't fit into my dress (she bought it off the rail and got a 16 as it was the biggest size they made. If only I'd been with her when she bought them!!!) Secondly, I've told DBF that I don't want to get engaged until I'm well on my way to being my goal weight. He loves me as I am and even says he will miss my belly etc but I really need a big carrot (or carat ) like this to keep me going.
My ultimate goal is to get my BMI in the normal range, although if I feel happy with my body shape when I'm slightly overweight, I don't think I'll worry too much.
My next goal is getting below the 14st 7lbs mark. I'm trying to think of a non-food treat to give myself when I get there. Any suggestions?
