Steaming Fruit?? I am wondering if any of you ever steamed fruit before and how does it turn out. I was watching the show Take Home Chef the other night and he steamed some pears and they looked sooooo good. I have no idea how to do this or what kind of steamer you would need. Has anyone tried this?

We grill some fruit on the BBQ Grill outside or on the George Foreman Grill inside and it comes out sooo good and it taste sooo good to, so when I saw this show on steaming fruit it looked really good so I want to try it out.

Thanks Eva! I found the same exact recipe that I saw on the show and it said they used a Bamboo Steamer. I have no idea where to get one or how to use one but I will have to look into it a little more and do some research on all of this. For now I will just keep grilling my fruit on the grill until I figure out all about this steamer thing lol! Thanks again.

You should be able to find a bamboo steamer at wal-mart or target. If not there you could try a kitchen specialty store.
