 stepchildren called and wished me happy mother's day
it was sweet of them to do it, but I know the reason behind it. DH ex-wife is a trip! I think she knows that it is hard to me to have children, she doesn't know we had a mc cause I told DH i would rip him a new one if he told her. But he doesn't like her so he doesn't tell her much. Anway, the kids called and one by one (4 total...4! and I can't even give him 1) said happy mother's day, I smiled and said thank you and gave the phone to DH. He thougt it was nice, and it was but they would never have done that on their own. And plus, they are NOT my kids. DH doesn't get why I was in a foul mood the rest of the day...I pretended not to be, but it came out with a sharp tone to him...sigh...I know the kids meant nothing by it, but man did it hurt. Their mom asked me when were DH and i gonna have a child, I said I don't know, and she said well you will have to wait about 8 years, that is when the child support will cease. i was furious, I told her it was only money and not a big deal, and that would never stop us from having a child, it just isn't the right time yet. Can you believe her! She is such a witch...like DH paying her child support would deter me. If we were in person I probably would have cursed her good, but I was able to bite my tongue on the phone, plus I was kinda shocked she would say something like that. Oh well, what can you do with stupid people anyway...my one good thought is that DH's brother said 'I like this sister-in-law better!' That just made my day.
