Default Still no ovulation

Hi ladies I am new here. I have been on Met since End of August and still no O on my charts...*sigh*
Well now since Oct 4 I havent had AF...Do you girls believe in very late ovulation??? I had a +opk on Nov. 26 but many tell me with pcos that you can get an LH surge anywhere in ur cycle and not really Ovulate. Is this true?

I don't know but I know how you feel my chart had said that I O'ed the 23rd and was due for AF Sunday. Sunday I record my temp and suddenly it doesn't say I O'ed anymore and no AF yet.

Those tests used to always tell me I ovulated when I never did, so they didn't work for me. Don't give up hope...it can take up to six months for metformin to start working. On the other hand, I only waited three months before doing clomid as well as metformin. I just wanted to get pregnant as soon as possible. I did get pregnant , by the way. I did it with injections and metformin.

I have read on the Infertility board of people ovulating that late so I am guessing it is completely possible.

Good luck! I havent ovulated for who knows how long! I was on BC for 10 years prior to stopping and taking Metformin alone for 3 months, and now Metformin and Clomid, and nothing so far.

Default Ovulation question - charts v/s bloodwork

If anyone takes the time to help me with this, thank you SO much in advance. I'm so frustrated/disappointed/sad... I don't know. Confused! Please give me your opinions and/or similar stories?
I started Metformin XR in September and since then have only had 1 round of spotting, and one Provera-induced period. It was beautiful! I started spotting on 12/2, and got a full AF on 12/4. It lasted about a week. So, I've been charting my temp and cervical fluid, and doing the ovulation tests. According to my charts, on the 18th/19th, I had the BEST, textbook eggwhites. We had sex on the 17th and the 20th. (Damn the pressure of trying to make a baby!!) On the 20th, my ovulation test showed the LH surge, for the first time EVER. Whoohooo! Or so I thought.... I went in Monday to my OBGYN and they did bloodwork. I thought FOR SURE it was going to say I ovulated, but it sadly came back negative. SO..... is it possible that I did ovulate?? Can bloodwork be wrong? Am I missing something here? They upped my dose of Met to 2000 now, and I'm going in for a Clomid discussion in February.

Thanks!!!!
Hannah

I've been in the same boat. My last period was 10/16/08 and I went to the doc becuse I started getting hair where I shouldn't have been right? Well, I started taking Met on 11/4/08 and I *still* haven't had a period yet. The only thing I had was a few weeks ago I had like one day of very, very, very light spotting. It's nice at the same time not to have a period but then again I can't help freaking out because I too am TTC and I still haven't seen or heard from AF...
