Unhappy Still sore 3 days post-op?

I had laparoscopic surgery on Tuesday morning to remove ovarian cysts/endo. I had minor complications from high blood pressure (hemorrages in both eyes and I spent Tuesday afternoon with a splitting headache and puking). The doc said I would be feeling pretty much back to normal by this weekend (friday), but I'm still having a lot of pain with moving around/walking/sitting up or down... I tried to call my doc and they are out for the weekend already. Anyone else experience this?

Do they have an answering service that you can call to get someone to call you back? Otherwise I would maybe try and get in touch with your primary doctor. It's better to be safe than sorry.

It took me a full week to feel well enough to go back to work, and even then I would come home and go straight to bed for another week or so. Sometimes our bodies take longer than the "doctor's orders" to recoup. By the follow-up appointment two weeks later I felt like myself.

My friend just had this and she is just starting to feel better after a week and a half, it all depends. I'm sure with the complications also that doesn't make the healing go any faster. Keep resting and if something feels wrong always go with your instincts and let a doctor know. Feel better soon! Take it easy.
