Urg, this place is still like molasses for me. Especially opening threads. It took about 2 minutes to open a thread on the Mommy board. Is this still server issues?

No, 'this place' is actually running quite briskly, at the moment.
Are you on dial-up? If so, just remember that every 'slow down' isn't necessarily a fault of the site. Dial-up accounts don't always connect at top modem speed. Reboot your computer, and log on again, MAKING NOTE OF YOUR ACTUAL CONNECTION SPEED.
If you're ACTUALLY connecting at less than 56k, there isn't much that can be done. In order for me to speed things up for those speeds, I would have to disable many server-intensive things from the board like gifts/sigs/etc.
If the problem persists for you, but everyone is still surfing ok...call your ISP and tell them what the problem is. They might be able to talk you through some settings on your computer that help (mine did that, when I was on dial up, and it was like night and day.)

Kat, I have always surfed with 2 browser windows open, and right now only SC is slow (even when I close a window). Has been for a few days now. I connect around 50kbps all the time. I wonder why it's just SC for me? No other site I go to is slow like this at all. Hmmmm.....
