Unhappy Still waiting for AF & bad cramps question.

Well, it's been 10 days since I finished taking Prometrium to bring on AF and I've had nothing happen yet. Last night I started having some weird cramping though. It didn't really feel like AF cramps. I've had horrible AF cramps in the past to the point that I couldn't function so I should know the difference. These were constant and low and whenever I'd go to the bathroom they'd get worse for awhile. I was in tears and DH was about ready to take me to the ER. I called the doctor this morning but he's in surgery and the nurse was going to have him call back. The cramps were better this morning but got worse for awhile and are a little better again. It doesn't hurt as much when I go to the bathroom anymore either. Now I just feel blah, almost nauseated. Maybe these are AF cramps but none like I've ever experienced before.

I remember reading something about some complications that you can have from a D&C that can cause cramping and no AF. Anybody know what I'm talking about? Can you tell me what it's called? Thanks.
Steph

I'm sorry this is happening. ((Hugs)) I don't remember the name of the disorder but it has to do with scarring in there. I'll keep my eye open for the name. It sounds to me like you have a very thick lining and just haven't shed it yet. I hope it happens for you very soon.

Thanks SheriKCMO for the hugs and response. I called both my RE and my Ob/Gyn. I didn't know which one to call so I called both. Both nurses I talked to just think that they're AF cramps. Part of me wishes I'd have just gone to the ER last night. I still am not convinced that it's AF cramps. I did something dumb earlier and took a HPT. I had some cramps when I was pregnant before and since I started feeling sort of nauseated I thought why not? Of course it was a BFN. I also was afraid maybe I had a tubal pregnancy. So part of me is releaved that it was negative but part of me is sad. kwim? Well, thanks again. Hopefully AF will come SOON!!!

Well, the nurse just called me back and is setting me up to go in for a pelvic sono. Yay. Hopefully now we'll get some answers.

I can answer my own question...Asherman's Syndrome is what it's called. My Ob/gyn called me back and after I told him what was going on he said it "could" be this. I sure hope not. Will I ever be a mom? He can't see me until Thurs.
