Question stomach issues

Does anyone else almost constantly feel like they just vomited? Not nausea (sp) just that empty feeling like you just got sick and the nasty, burn in your esophagus (sp?)? I am just curious because I do. I mentioned it to my doctor the last time I was there and he just said it was another side effect of the met!

Sometimes I feel like that. I know I have the nausea feeling all the time.

I'm on Gloucophage XR but I had the neusea problem before I ever started that.

It could also be acid reflux. I have it and feel like that a lot of the time, especially with the burning feeling. I know that their are a lot of other things that us w/ PCOS are also dx with and am pretty sure that acid reflux was one that a lot of women are dually dx.

I would get a second opinion. Cysters tend to be susceptible to Acid Reflux and that sounds like me before I started taking Nexium. I had been put on different levels of Acid Reflux meds but none seemed to work like Nexium for me. If this doc won't help you go to another doc.

Yes this is true. I had acid reflux and IBS long before I was diagnosed. I have found that eating regularly, even just snacking on some crackers helps. Also, if you can take it, as long as it doesn't mess with other meds, there is an over the counter med you can take that helps with these symptoms. I take Equalactin every day, and I also take pepcid complete everyday. They seem to help. For me the key is not letting my stomach empty completely, and also not drinking soda or coffee on an empty stomach. Alcohol is really bad too.
