Sal many of us have the same problem. You are definately not alone.Hirsuitism,or body hair growth is a common symptom of PCOS.There are medications out there to control body hair, but they have side effects. The only other option is to find a hair removal method that works for you.Its frustating and I can understand how you feel like your weird and the only one but your not!!! I have fur on my stomach too :-D....

another Sally here !

I have horrific stomach hair ... its thick and very coarse... I spent hours and Imean hours plucking the suckers out ... its real bad below my belly button but getting bad above it too ...... I constantly have scarring on my stomach from attacking them .... whenever i see them I have this urge to pick them out .... I am now finding some growing on my nipples also dark ... If I let it grow I would be hairer than my dad !

I had lazer on my stomach about two years back it worked great for six months but its all back again .. Diannete worked wonders but I had to come off it for high blood pressure and its all coming back in again

This is my biggest PCOS problem....Its terrible. I also spend 1-2 hours PER DAY plucking stomach/chest hairs, and you can always still see a "root" those nasty little black hairs under the skin. Sometimes I pluck those and then I get the little red bumps/scarring...YUCK! If I could pick one symptom to get rid of, this would definetly be it..I wonder if anyone on this board has a better hair removal system for the stomach/chest?? I am willing to try anything at this point!

Hey I also get them under the skin they are like dark dots ... I find if I get my fingers nails and squeeze they pop out with root as well this only happens if they are under the surface ... hence the scabby stomach look grrrrrrrrrr

I would love not to have to have tweezers with me ALL the time

I have this too. I bleach mine. Bleaching was easier when Yasmin was slowing down the hair growth but now I just can't keep up. It grows in so fast! I need a way or getting rid of the thicker trail... then i'll continue to bleach the rest I suppose. I'd like to hear how everyone else deals with it too.

Hmmm...bleaching I might give that a try, I have to be careful with my super sensitive skin though.

Has anyone used the shave minimizing lotion on their stomachs??? Does this work? What about Magic Powder/Cream? Im desperate

Not only do I have PCOS, I am Greek! That means that I'm dark and hairy by nature like most Mediterraneans. I have hair e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e. I bleach, wax, shave and pluck all the time. My tummy looks like a fluffy pet. The thing is that in Greece a lot of girls have the same problem without having PCOS or other hormonal problems. I guess that's good... in a weird way
