OK lets see if i can describe this....
First off i didnt get this pain while i was pregnant or for a long time after pregnancy until i started getting my cycles again...
I have always gotten UTIs frequently (before i was PG.. not since) and so always put this pain down to that because ive had it severely before as a teena nd went to the ER and was Dx'd with a UTI.
But im not so sure it is....
Its like right down low on one side (usually right right but sometimes the left) right near the pelvic bone, its not shooting or throbing or anything like that, i dont have any other UTI symptoms, its sometimes too painful to walk (othertimes just uncomfy to walk and sometimes not bad at al when i walk) and sometimes too painful to BD (othertimes just uncomfy and other times it doesnt bother me)
I dont usually feel Ovulation and i dont get this at ovulation time ... it comes at any time.
So what do you ladies think? Anyone else know this pain???
Also when i was PG they checked my ovaries and i had no cysts so i dont think its related to cysts... but isnt that what usually causes ovary pain?
*confused*
ETA: Also any pressure on my abdomen makes it worse.

I've gotten these too. I thought it was a severe cramp but I don't know the cause. Before I was on BCPs I got them more often. When I'm not on BCPs I only ovulate every 3-4 months so I thought maybe it had something to do with it.

I'm trying to build a helpful community and need members.
Hmm if i remember i didnt get them when i was on BCPs but it was a few (4-5) years ago now so im not 100%.
I wonder if it is to do with ovulation, right now im on CD28 and havent ovulated so i wonder if it is related to the not ovulating... :-/

I used to have pelvic pain like you're describing and mine did turn out to be my cysts.
I've heard lots of cysters say their symptoms diminished when they were pg (mine did) so I just wondered if maybe that's why you didn't have the pain when you were pg.
Hope you feel better soon

Thanks a lot ladies!
Im thinking ill make a Drs appt and talk to her about it, i always just put it down to my troubles with UTIs but recently i decided i really dont think it is that since i get it without any other UTI like symptoms! And i havent had a UTI since before i was PG.
Im glad to hear im not the only one and in a weird way glad it is related to PCOS! maybe closer to finding out at least whats causing it

Emma, Hope you are feeling better. I'm the same way, it's almost a relief to know some of the strange stuff that happens to us is because of our PCOS. At least then we have an explanation! Let us know what you find out from your doctor.
Eva, :Hugs: Hope you feel better and that your doctor appointment goes well.

I have almost constant bad abdominal pain. I'm still trying to get my body settled with new medication, not sure if the pain will subside once my body has settled. I'm guessing my pain is purely because of the cysts. When the specialist did the internal scan a few weeks ago he pressed down quite hard on my stomach and I was quite sore for a few hours. Now i'm wondering if pressure 'sets off' the pain, since I wasn't sore before I went in for the appointment.
