Default Strange Cramps On My Left Side; What Could This Be?

I've been having sharp pains in my lower left side since this passed wednesday (June 24) that lasts about ten seconds and then it goes away. It comes and goes every 2-3 hours, but it's Saturday and it's getting a little worse (almost crampy like) and it's switching off to the right side now.

I haven't had a period since November 2008 so I can't remember if this is what it feels like before my period starts. Yea I know it sounds silly, but it's the truth.

I was told by the gyn that diagnosed me to just continue my walking regimine to lose weight and that if my period doesn't come back within 6 months of my diagnosis I'm going on medication.

I'm noticing more cervical mucous along with the cramps so I'm hoping July will be the month I get my womanhood back. I've had so many false hopes these past few months and it's disappointing when it doesn't come. Weird, huh? Never thought I'd actually be happy to get my period.

I'm wondering if this could be my period coming?

Ah..I like that your Doctor had you start walking as treatment before giving you harmful drugs. Very happy...actually.

IMHumbleO, I think its a good sign your having twingies Any type of exercise help get your body to flow correctly, including your hormones. I should really do it myself more. I def think that could be a sign of something going on down there. But it may take some time. I know Ive had pain before like that, and it took nearly a month before I actually got my AF.

So I say, keep walking sister I think I'll go for a walk myself today too!!

Sounds to me like you may be ovulating! A good sign that AF may be on her way in. Hopefully the walking is working for you! Keep it up and good luck

Yea I was really skeptical when the gyn told me walking would help reverse some of the symptoms, but it looks like she was right. Walking is so therapeutic. I notice that my stress levels aren't as high as they have been in the past. It's really good.

I've been walking everyday since April 6, 2009 so it's taken my body a little while to get back on track. I just hope my period comes soon.

Here's to hoping!
