Unhappy Strange request (pet mentioned)

Hello cysters!

I've never posted here before because I never ask for anything for myself. I just don't know where to turn and thought a few prayers would be helpful.

My sister and her DH who live in New Jersey, took a trip down to North Carolina for the week of Thanksgiving. They brought along their 2 kitties as they usually do, but the only thing done differently was her DH went to get kitties from the car and one got away.

My sister spent 9 days walking through the woods, calling for her cat, Little. She looked for Little day and night. Her Thanksgiving was ruined.

She couldn't eat, she couldn't sleep. Luckily she had a CD with Little's picture with her, so they put up fliers and called local animal shelters.

Unfortunately, they had to go back home to NJ and I know she is worried sick. My sister has no children so her kitties are her life and I feel really bad that there is nothing I can do to help. Little was a replacement for my sister's 1st cat that passed away last year.

I've been praying day and night that Little is able to find her way back to my sister's in-laws' house. It's a strange place for her, even being outside has to be scary for her (she's an indoor cat).

I can just picture poor Little somewhere in the woods, sad, lonely, cold, dirty and hungry and it breaks my heart. I'm a 'mom' to 2 kitties also and it makes me so sad.

Please help me pray that God shows Little the way and he keeps her safe.

Thank you and God bless!

Bee

Heavenly Father,

I take the time right now to pray for "LITTLE" the kitty kat. Lord you know where "Little" is and I ask that you would keep him/her safe and lead her back home in the name of Jesus. Some people think that praying for pets is crazy, but I remember the day that a wild bird got caught in my parents house and they were going to kill it...but I begged them to give me 24 hours to catch it and let it go. That day I went to college and made all my friends pray with me for that bird. I went home, and caught the wild bird and set it free. You answer prayers for animals....you talk of animals in The Bible and I know they must mean something special to you or you wouldn't have made them. For there is a purpose for all living things unto this earth. ECC.3

Lord I ask that you would give peace to Bee's sister and help to rid the pain that she must feel. You know that we treat our two dogs like one of our own. Though we know they're not like us, they are still a big part of our life and we do know the difference between animals and human beings. Lord, let there be some kind soul out there find "little" and kindly bring her back to where she belongs in Jesus Name I pray, AMEN!!

Bee,
You seem to be a very caring woman. I just want to let you know that you ARE deserving of prayer. Don't think that your selfish if you ask people to pray for you. God wants that for you .....He says, "Ask and it will be given unto you; seek, and you will find;knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, received, and he who seeks, finds, and him who knocks it will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8

As long as what your praying or asking for is pure and righteous, God will answer.

I just wanted you to know that, and wanted you to know that God see's your heart and your hurt and will take care of that too.

Thnx Becky! It's kind of funny but I hurt more when an animal is involved. Maybe because they are so dependent on us to care for them.

Thank you for the prayer! It was lovely! I hope Little is safe and will be in my sister's arms again.

Bee,

It makes me so sad to hear your news about your sister's cat. I have 3 cats myself and they are part of the family. I pray that the Lord will protect Little from harm and will reunite your sister and Little very soon. Please keep us posted.

Oh Bee, what a sad story. I am praying for Little and for your Sister, may Little find her way home soon.

When we moved into our house from a mobile home many years ago, we brought along (of course) our cat, Cujo. She got away and was gone for almost a month before someone found her hiding underneath the nearest mobile home she could find. She was dirty and hungry and tired, but okay. Now she's a fat old cat and queen of the house!

I am sorry to hear of the pain that your family is going through, I have lit a candle and said a prayer for a safe return, and to bring peace to you all during this troubled time.

I have always seemed to like animals sometimes more than humans, they never judge and provide unconditional love........

Thank you so much cysters!

My sister said that a neighbor of her in-laws may have spotted Little twice last week and called her MIL. Sis's MIL went out shaking the kitty food, but she didn't see Little.

Poor Little is probably scared, but I have faith she will find her way soon. I hope she is found before Christmas, it would make my sister very happy.

Thnx for the prayers!

Bee

I just saw this post and said a prayer, too.
Any sign of Little yet?

No sign of poor Little yet. I'm still praying too. Animals are so special and dear to our hearts and I feel so sad for my sister. I talk to her everyday, but I'm afraid to talk about Little. I'm afraid she'll start crying at work.

Please keep praying! Somebody has got to find Little!

Thnx!
