i've got a whole bunch of those lovely marks all over the middle and upper half of my arms and because of them as well as the gorgeous upper arm fat, i hate wearing anything with short sleeves.
they're on my stomach as well but i don't really care about those.
i'm not sure the cause, probably just my weight.
does anyone else here have them? or know of a way to get rid of or reduce the appearance of them?
any ideas would be appreciated.
thanks cysters.
=)

Stretch marks occur when the body grows at a rate faster than the skin can adapt, people often get them when going through puberty or weight gain. I use to have them, they fade with time to a light silvery colour, you can barely see them now, but they are still there on my upper arms and faintly on my hips and tummy. The bright red/purple ones are usually new ones. Vitamin E cream can help them heal and fade a little, as well as sunlight, but that gives the risk of sun cancer if you are sun bathing. Coca Butter can also help too. If you visit your local chemist more often than not you'll see various cremes available to help treat them. Good luck!

I started to use a vitamin E cream a few years ago and it seems to have helped a little bit for the ones on my tummy.
I have many on my tummy and upper arms and also on my breats.

Well its good to know I wasn't alone in the "stretch mark" world!!
I also have them on my arms(which are fat), my shoulders and stomach. But I figure since I'm not gonna be wearing a 2 piece bathingsuit anytime in the next 20 yrs that the stomach doesn't bother me that bad. As for the arms..well...its to freakin hot to be running around with them covered all the time. Sorry to be so blunt..but these skinny girls can run around here with hardley anything on and I think its time we start( not run around nude--just show some skin)
Anyways..we are beautiful and I think all BBB women should start showing our arms cause many men like it and I think that we are more conceice of ourselves than we should me....so lets give ourselves a break and look at the good things we have and not the "bad".
I had some pretty bad ones on my arms and I found that as I lost weight my stretchmarks got smaller. I also use 100% cocoa butter or shea butter on them
I know of a couple of people who swear by Bio Oil for treatment of their pregnancy stretch marks.
Its avaliable at most pharmacy's here in New Zealand and when I googled it there were loads of website to buy it online.

Thanks for the tips ladies! I have bad ones up my sides and across my lower belly as well as on my arms. I am hoping they will be minimized when I lose a bit more weight.
Best,
Tori
