Hello,

Yeah I can understand your concern. Sometimes these stretch marks bottles are way to expensive for the average person. Have you tried some home remedies for stretch marks? They don't work as well but is a lot cheaper. Basically you can make your own solution to treat your stretchmarks. A couple of articles on how to make your own home-made stretch mark treatment can be found if you search on google. Try searching for "homemade skin lotions for stretch marks" on Google.

Good luck!

Serena

Hey, coco butter works amazingly. Don't underestimate how good that stuff can be for your skin. You can see results after a few weeks as well. I also know bio oil works really well, but I don't know if they sell it in the states. I really like bio oil because it helps with stretch marks, scars and a lot of different skin problems..

Bio-Oil... I just started using this for my stretch marks a little less than a month ago. I haven't even used it religiously, but I have noticed a dramatic reduction in the redness, deepness, and overall appearance of mine. It's only about $10/bottle, but it WORKS.

That bio oil stuff comes in tiny little bottles though! I would need like a thousand bottles of it...my body looks like a road map up close lol and I'm only 23!!!

I used Trilastin on my tummy and it works really well but it costs a fortune

Google Covermarkusa

cover mark sells a kit that covers up tattoos... i believe it works well on streach marks. All of those expensive creams don't work.. they may help the problem, but there is no way to get them to go away. You need a body lift or tummy tuck for that. Macy's also has a cosmetics counter that sells medical grade cosmetics that are used to cover up scars and marks. Consult with a make up artist...

I've had stretch marks since I was a teenager, now I'm 22. CocoaButter didn't do much for me, it did lighten some of the scars and did make my skin smoother and more elastic which was good. After a while I started using cocoabutter and Vitamin E oil (you can buy the oils in the same area as the pill and it's like $3) and just rubbed it all in together. It has helped too.

Another thing that helps is time. 5 years ago the stretch marks on my arms where highly noticable now you cant even tell unless you're looking hard.

I'm a huge Bio Oil fan also. I've heard great things about it across the board. I first learned about it from my relatives over seas & once they found out I was pregnant they sent some over for me. The bottles in the US are pretty small, you can find the larger sizes over seas like in South Africa. I've been using it since I got pregnant just in case & I hadn't developed any stretch marks until about 2 weeks ago when I was 38 weeks pregnant (btw, I'm still pregnant). And even those are not very noticeable. Cocoa butter is a hit or miss with a lot of people. Some folks love it, others say it doesn't work for them.

Hi everyone! I am 21 also have stretch marks on my stomach and I have never been pregnant. Its very frustrating! I have tried cocoa butter and other home remedies but they seem not to work as I hope they would. Thanks for reccommending Bio oil; I have wanted to try it out but needed some reassurance. Thanks so much!

Hi Ladies.....

Unfortunatley, there is no cure for streach marks except a tummy tuck. BUT you can COVER them! There is a cosmetics line called DERMABLEND that was made by a dermatologist. The Leg and Body Foundation covers streach marks, tatoos, spider veins, varicose veins, burns and bruises. I believe that it is $33 a tub, but it works very well.

Unhappy embarassed

Does anyone have them on their shoulders.... Im so emabarassed.... I can't even wear a strapless gown. Im going to get some dermablend at some point. I have had mine for years, so they are a silvery white color, and they are raised. It is the worst...... I have been loosing weight, and all i can think about is how bad im gunna look when I finish loosing weight.. all that hard work, and I'm still going to look a mess from the stretch marks.

I have them all over my hips. I have had them for some time so I doubt anything will make them go away.
