Just wanted to update from a previous post that I thought AF arrived but turns out it didn't. Had one small episode of bleeding and thats it.

Ms.Peaches how much vitex do you tak? How long have you been on vitex and hyponidd?

Anyone take both hyponidd and vitex?

Gina,

I take 2 400mg capsules of Vitex/Chaste every night. I have been taking Vitex for about 3 years and it works to help AF to come on her own.

I take both hyponidd and vitex and I'm hoping that this will help me to control my weight. I've only been on hyponidd for about 1 1/2 months and am on 40 day cycles with AF.

Hi, I have a question here, maybe somebody can help. I am diagnosed with PCOS, however I am not IR (or at least never diagnosed) I am fairly skinny. I do menstruate normally but I do not ovulate unless I take BCP for several months. After years of taking BPC now my body is reacting bad to it, first I started having problems in my eyes, weird but I couldnt relate it with the BPC until I stopped taking them, then I satarted to get my feet swollen and blue, and my arms would get "sleep" very easy; that scared me as I though I may get some clots or something.
Reading all your comments... do you think that I can try on Hyponnid (spell?), even when I am not IR? I've been two months without BPC so far, my face is getting more and more acne and my hair is getting more and more grasy, I also have rosacea that gets worse without BPC. Of course I am getting more hair in the bad places....And I feel soooo bad and with no hope....
I ve been drinking lots of spearmint tea but I am not sure if it makes a difference, besides is not like I love the flavor... help me please, I dont want it to go worse....and I hate doctors, is so expensive and is like they never know what to do besides give me BPC...

Rosita: If I read your post correctly, I think you are just trying to ovulate? I would try soy isoflavones if I was you. I'm sure that there is a thread around here somewhere.

has anyone had spotting or light bleeding for several days while on hyponidd. I am having irregular spotting for 6 days now and it definitely is not a flow.

Yes, I had it. Are you pregnant? If you're worried about it maybe you should do a PG test. Then again you may just be PMSing.

I did also, I counted it as flo because I was sick of CD130. It lasted about 5ish days I think.

Thanks Kriket, actually I am not trying to get pregnant. I just want to get rid of the very bad symptoms I have when I am not in BCP: acne, severe hyrsutism, hair loss. My doctor (endocrynologist) gave me Met (after I asked him about it) but he was not really convinced and he never run a test on me or something so I decided to drop him...he was just no nice last time I went there.

So I was just thinking if Hyponidd has the same effects as Met which is known to work on PCOS patients even if they are not IR, why not to try H.

In fact, I ordered it and I have the H. here I am just afforid to try...

One more thing: I read the ingredients and H. has som parabens as preservatives.... I think those parabens are kinda bad stuff....but I am not sure.

I will keep praying and perhaps I try the H. before I gone completely bald and hairy... I will be a bald monkey soon.

This is my first post on this board.
Too bad your doctor didn't even test you for your results after giving you medication! I'm very surprised.
I'm an older pcoser... I'm 44 almost 45 and still ttc. I've been following this thead for the past few weeks. I'm very interested in trying hyponidd. I'm from Toronto, Canada, and have been looking around for a similar product I could buy here. I haven't found anything. My supplement list is as long as my arm and met too... but still I've just had a 200 day cycle, although I'm expecting af anyday now. (bbt and cm confirmed)
Until I had my daughter, my cycles would go into 3 to 5 years, and I just wouldn't menstruate... Now I have the odd cycle, and I believe it's the Soya lecithin. Soya lecithin is a great supplement because they believe it contains some d-chiro-inositol. Just do an internet search with : d-chiro-inositol and PCOS on the same one. You'll find Dr. Nester and all his work from The University of Virginia.
And soy isoflavones can be taken like clomid during day 3 till 7 in order to produce ovulation. If you ovulate, some of your symptoms will improve, because your cylce will improve... and your homones will be more normalized. That is what I've understood. You can even add soy isoflavones to help clomid to work if you are ttc.

rosita, I see. I have been taking the hyponidd and have never had a problem I had about a week of detox (which was nice after it was over) I wouldn't really worry too much about ovulation unless you are TTC. as long as you are getting a period, or are on BCPs or other wise at peace with your body you're doing fine. PCOS isn't something that you can cure, it's really more a bunch of symptoms that have to be managed. Like diabetes or otherwise

I gotta tell you ladies. I feel like crap. I'm tired, I either have cramps or some stomach thing. I have been hyper super bioch for 2 days. I am likely to rip my coworkers heads clean off any moment now. I had to take a break and come surf. I just feel like poo, hopefully it's AF. That would be nice. I do seem to have a ton of EWCM like I have never seen before. What ever it is I need to snap out of it.
If anyone else lost weight to get their cycle back how much did you lose? what was your BMI when your cycle came back? ugh, I hope it's AF.
