Just a quick question... I wanted to know if everyone who is taking the hyponidd waited for AF before starting it or just jumped right in as soon as they got the pills? Been about 65 days since last AF and didn't know if I should try NPC first or just jump in on the hyponidd and cinnamon????

My hyponidd just arrived yesterday. I will start taking them tomorrow and I can't wait. It took almost two weeks to get them for you ladies who have recently placed orders and are awaiting them. I will post my results.
I ordered two months worth of hyponidd on the 12th and am counting down the days. I really hope this works - I've tried so many supplements for other health issues that never panned out. I just went through 6 mos. of wacky cycles after a m/c, and I think things are back to normal, so I hope I don't screw things up again.
I have a blood sugar monitor and have been testing frequently due to having to go on/off metformin, so I'll update & let everyone know how well it's going in that regard with the hyponnid.
Just wondering for those of you who use cinnamon - has anyone checked their blood sugar to see if it's improved it? I started using cinnamon in the morning with breakfast in replacement of one dose of metformin, but I think it was actually making my bs worse. I was taking at most 1000mg, only because it makes me sweat.
Congratulations Pearl on your pg!! I read through this thread, and was wondering how things went with your father & his blood sugar? Is the hyponnid giving consistant results? Thanks!
Wendy

has the hyponidd helped anyone with hair loss and/or excess hair issues? i get a period every month but they are too close together and too long...a bit heavy too. im not IR so maybe this wont help me. my big problems are hair loss, excess hair and acne. im tired of the long frequent periods too tho.

My dad went off hyponidd because it gave him constipation.
It did help his sugar by 1 or 2 points which is good. 8.6 to 7 I think. He is not willing to put in the effort and lose weight, he is greedy He tries to eat the right thing but over eats a lot.
Moondandtheriver it helped my acne very much.
Hope you are all doing well

Aw Pearl, I'm sorry it didn't work out. As for the constipation, I've always had the same problem, but I now eat just 1/2 cup of Fiber One (cereal) every morning, and no more problems. It's got 14g of fiber per cup & very low cal, so it's an easy way to get in the fiber. Hopefully he'll get back on the wagon & try it again. It's tough being compliant & doing the right thing. It wasn't until I started having physical health problems that I was scared straight into sticking to a diet. Best wishes to you & your Dad.

I want to order this stuff! I am taking chinese bitters, coptis, and DongQuai. Does anyone know if the Hynoidd would have any adverse effects along with the chinese herbs? Also, will it counteract with the good that the chinese herbs are doing?
I asked the chinese dr. that I'm going to, and she said that she does not know.
I must say that in all the years that I've had pcos...this thread has been one of the most intriguing that I've had the privilege to read.

Lizmel, I really am not sure. I also take chinese formulas and have taken them with Met. I think the only thing you may be concerned with is if you're taking something that substantially lowers your blood sugar (like high doses of licorice or something). But I think the fact that formulas are balanced you shouldn't have a problem.
Does anyone know how long it should take for a shipment of hyponidd? I ordered from Madanapalas. I never received a confirmation it was shipped, just that it would ship shortly (1/15). Did anyone have to sign for it?? I'm off Metformin, so I really want to get this soon!!!
Thanks

I ordered the Hyponidd yesterday. I got an e-mail this morning saying that it would ship shortly. I hope that we get it soon! I was taking AvandaMet but stopped taking it about 3 weeks ago so that the chinese herbs could do their thing. And, I was experiencing swelling from the AvandaMet...not good. I'm hoping that this Hyponidd works well.
So, is this a long term thing for us PCOSers? Should we take this the rest of our lives?

Lizmel: I hear ya! I was getting awful progressive leg pain/cramps for over 6 mos. after being on Met for a year. I couldn't walk on the treadmill, excercise, and I even had a hard time just walking period. I was also getting colder & colder, and my legs were like ice all the time. My legs burned when I sat, and when I lied down. At night, I couldn't even stand the touch of anything against the back of my legs. My clotting disorder confused the issue, but it was definately the Met. I'll be really brokenhearted if the hyponidd doesn't work. Met was doing it's job very well, it was just the damn s/e's. If I got gastro s/e's like most other people, I think I would have tolerated that so much better.
Jamyra: Thanks! Tomorrow is day 13, so hoping it gets here by then! I did email them to see if they could give me more info about when it was shipped.
I've already gained 2 lbs. since stopping Met. Cinnamon doesn't do diddly squat for me. Maybe I'll try out vinegar in the meantime.
