Not alot of changes yet. I am wanting to give hyponidd a 3 month trial before giving up completley. Maybe I should give it more time. Can you give me some references about how long to take hyponidd in terms of long term saftey? I had an online chat with a doctor in India--Dr. Kamat and he said I could take it safley for 6-8 months. I kept asking him if I could take it longer than that. He didnt want to give me a clear answer for some reason? He said if I had blood sugar problems after the 6-8 months or whatever I could continue with Hyponidd. I do not have blood sugar issues. I know you said it was a long term supplement. Just curious, where I could find the information. I cant find alot of information on the internet about hyponidd.

It (hyponidd)is an anti-diabetec medicine just like Metformin is also. And Metformin is safley taken for years, because often diabetes is a life long problem.

Thanks,

Amanda

Amanda Im not a Dr or anywhere near, but from my observance, as metformin is taken for life, so is hyponidd. Or atleast till PCOS resides. It will definately take 3 months plus to reverse the symptoms of PCOS. You may see some small changes in month 1. By month three you will see changes if it is working for you. In one year you will be more or less straightened out. He probably means that in 8 months you may have lost the weight or corrected the issue that is causing you to have PCOS and you can quit.

My consultant gyno told me that many PCOS patients do not have abnormal blood glucose levels or fasting insulin, however there is still something metabolically wrong with the insulin/cells/ovarian response - blood sugar function and that is why metformin helps patients, blood sugar problems or not.

The first effects I saw on D Chiro inositol is not feeling intoxicated after eating sugar/ or any food for that matter. Then the 7lbs weight came off. Then the spots went on my face. Then the spots went on my back. Im still waiting for it to straighten out my ovulations. Its been 6 weeks now and its taken that long for acne but the weight loss and reverse tiredness went in 1 week.

Can you please give me the address for the Indian Dr? Where did you find him? I am also interested in the use of Hyponidd in pregnancy

Thx hunny...& remember, just like metformin, its not an overnight cure by any means...you will see small changes from month to month, but you should see changes nevertheless, and thats what counts that it is working

Pearl--

Thanks so much for all the information!! I defenitly feel different scince starting the CInnamon, Milk Thistle and Hyponidd. I do not feel CRAVING SUGAR all the time. Before I was ADDICTED TO SUGAR, eating several cookies at one time, pouring a bag or less of chocolate chips into my mouth because I had to have my addiction--sugar. It was almost like I did it involuntarily anymore. I just wanted to eat it really fast as many as I could. But I havent had a huge desire for sugar scince starting my new supplements. Ive heard Cinnamon helps with this, but Hyponidd also helps too, like you said...about the feeling intoxicated after sugar, yeah, I think I felt that too. (before starting supplements) I would just eat all the sugar in large amounts then feel sort of "drugged" sometimes, or whatever.

You are so right. This is not an overnight cure. I should try it more than 3 months, becasue scince I have had gest. diabetes twice, I am at risk for future diabetic problems so I could cut my risk by taking HYponidd.

I went to http://www.biogetica.com and they have a little box or something in the left hand upper corner of the screen, for an online chat with Dr.'s if you have questions about their products, ect. (they sell hyponidd too) So I started asking the Dr Kamat questions and found out he was in India and the biogetica place is in California, USA. He said the Hyponidd was good for gestational diabetes too I think, so that would be during pregnancy. But dont quote me for sure about that!

thanx again friend!

Amanda

One more thing--I just decided to ask Dr Kamat some more questions after I wrote the last post above this morning...

He said Hyponidd was safe for pregnancy and breastfeeding. He said it is not a hypoglycemic drug, but has powerful averyudic herbs that regulizes metabolism.

He also confirmed what you told me. He said that It IS SAFE FOR LONG TERM USE!!!!!!!!!!

Thanx pearl, have a wonderful day,

Amanda

Hi Amanda! Thanks for asking the Dr! I know that PCOS'ers are more at risk of reccurant miscarriage if the LH / FSH hormones (caused by fluctuating sugar levels again) are out of balance. Thats why I was wondering if it is ok in pregnancy.

Btw, I was also the same with the severe sugar addiction. I wouldnt eat food at all. I would pig out on chocolate, biscuits, icecream and then slomp down and fall asleep. I would get very angry if I couldnt get the sugar! The next day I wasnt able to function, it was as though my brain was on lockdown and I was walking through a thick fog and haze. Since taking vitamin C and milk thistle it has calmed down a lot, but it has totally disappeared now Im on D chiro inositol. It is so great that I dont feel like a crazed monster around food! I fancied a piece of chocolate the day before my period and I allowed myself that pms munches

Im so glad I have a buddy in this! Best of luck to us !

Add me to your msn? Ill PM you my addy xxxx

Hi Pearl--

Yes we will be hyponidd buddies!!!! How much of the other stuff do you have to take before you start the hyp. ??

I ate too much food today and felt a little draggy but I think Im a little tired too. I am encouraged that the hyponidd can be taken for a long term use.

CHloedevall-- The dose of Hyponidd I take is just like the instructions on the websitest that sell it---2 tablets twice a day taken 1/2 hour before meals.

Have you ladies seen any results in hair loss with the hyppnoid?

I'm postpartum, but also seeing the results of not losing all of that hair while pregnant (actually, there was only about 2 mos where I wasn't losing hair like I do without those lovely progesterone levels...sigh). Its awful! And I don't want to go bald!!!
