Question Hyponidd and Alli?

I'm new to this forum all together and after reading various threads I am so thankful to find other women out there who are going through the same things as I am.

I just received my Hyponidd supplements last week and have been trying to find some research to see if it would interact negatively with Alli at all? I have had luck with Alli on many levels, but also am really wanting to start OV again. (No P since January)

Any advice?

Thanks you!

Mine shipped on Tuesday.
I'm currently on Metformin. Has anyone here made the switch? My current thought is to halve the Met and halve the Hyp for a week. Then for the second week just do all Hyp. Any thoughts?

Question about dosage:

Does anyone know how the hyponidd recommended dosage (2 tablets twice a day 20 minutes before meals) compares to metformin? In other words, would the daily dosage of hyponidd be the same as 2500mgs of met, or less?

Hyponidd is to be taken (for pcosers) twice a day. 2 Hyponidd 30min. before a meal. So, four Hyponidd a day in all.

The company that I ordered my last bit of Hyponidd from, sent me the wrong product. But, I think it's a good thing. They are shipping my original order of Hyponidd now. But, this other stuff that they sent me, is interesting. I've been reading articles about it...and from what I can understand, it works kind of like Avandia might work. Avandia, from what I've read, can dangerous though. This other stuff is called Diabecon. Here is a link: http://www.naturalnews.com/023079.html Apparently, you can take Hyponidd and Diabecon together and they work well together. I am one who is very careful about what I take. So, I've been researching this out. I have decided to try the Diabecon w/ the Hyponidd.

Just wanted to add that to this post in case anyone is interested in trying it. But, please research it out for yourself as well.

Hey Pearl! Congrants on that beautiful baby girl! She is gorgeous!!!

I haven't started the Diabecon yet. I have it...just haven't started taking it yet. I thought I'd start it when my first AF starts after my last m/c in June. I'll update w/ any changes.

but if I go one week w/o white flour and white sugar ...i start a menses ....

it is hard to not eat white flour/sugar and yet $$$ for hyponidd ... eh what's a gal to do

Skillet,

Diabecon from what I understand works kind of like Avandia. So, Metformin helps to control the blood sugar.....the herbal form is Hyponidd.

Diabecon as I said woks like Avanida. Avandia works in your body to get out the access insulin that has built up in your muscles and body from insulin resistance.

When my first dd was conceived, I was taking a drug called AvandaMet. Which is the combo of both Metformin & Avandia. My body was not responding well to only the Met. But, adding Avandia...(therefore helping to control my blood sugar & get the access insulin out), actually helped me to conceive.

The natural way to go would be to use both Hyponidd...to control the blood sugar. And, to add Diabecon to get the access insulin out of the body.

By the way, I started taking the Diabecon yesterday. I took 2 pills at lunch. I'm not taking as much as a diabetic would take.

Here are some articles on Diabecon:

Before I started taking Hyponidd, I felt myself getting sugar ups and downs, but only mildly. Now I've been taking Hyponidd for about 2 months at 3 pills a day and I actually feel like I've gotten worse. My sugar levels are very low, especially in the morning. When I wake up, my glucometer says like 73 on average. Because I just got the glucometer I can't even tell if this is new or if it has always been this low. I've started craving food like crazy. I went from having to eat every 4 hours to being ravenously hungry or sugar crashing almost every 2 hours. I've started cutting back on my dosage to 2 pills a day but it hasn't made any real difference thus far.

Have any of you experienced anything like this? I don't really understand what's happening with me and would really appreciate some input.

Izzylu,

Could you be pg? I did this w. my last pregnancy. If I didn't keep food in my stomach I was ill. And, it wasn't always a morning sickness type of feeling. It was hard to explain...but, very much of a sugar low.

Since I've been on Hyponidd, I have noticed that if I have too much sugar, I feel sick and I get really dizzy. My DH says this is how "normal" people feel if they have too much sugar.

Ladies I actually think this is what helped me conceive my daughter, adding the hyponidd to bring down insulin levels and then using cinnamon (same as diabecon or avedia) to make the cells more reactive to insulin itself. So normalising the body.

Just dropping in to mark my spot here...I'm very curious about hyponidd and very cautious because, well, it's from the other side of the world from me. I haven't made the leap to metformin, but just bought chromium supplements that is supposed to do the same kind of thing. i'm considering inositol as well. i'm nervous about all this because i don't really have a naturalist helping me out.
I'm really interested in any of your experiences with hyponidd. thanks for writing about it!

I started Hyponidd yesterday (4 pills per day). I'm already having similar side effects as Metformin. Simply STARVING just an hour or two after a meal and an upset tummy after eating. I guess I better go back through my journal and find what foods I was able to eat and not have the upset tummy before.

Thanks for posting about the Diabecon. I may continue to research this and add it to my regiment if I do not see any changes. I'm currently taking Hyponidd but will add M2 Tone as soon as it arrives.

Is anyone else taking M2 Tone with Hyponidd as advised by Charak for PCOS?

Warmly,

I have a script for met, but I was afraid to use it and even though I have a full 500mg per tab bottle here, I have 2 at walgreens and 1 at walmart but that was a year ago and if you don't refill do they question ya when you finally slink back and ask for a refill? ya know....
I gave my homeopathic doc. the list of ingredients and he gave it the all clear.
