I just spent the last 4 hours reading this ENTIRE post!!
I am brand-spanking-new to this site and i am so happy to be here. My story is the same as many of yours- started getting symptoms at 18, 100lb weight gain senior year of college, doctors kept telling me i was just fat and to stop whining, i didn't listen (because i knew that not all fat women grew beards) and finally figured out what was wrong with me, went on met, got so sick i couldn't leave the house, went off met, gave up, started concentrating on diet and exercise and finally lost 50 lbs, started getting into the "herbal revolution", swore off MD's unless i'm critically injured and now i want to be pregnant and stop gaining 47 lbs if i pass a pastry shop. i've been married over 7 years and no documented pregnancies. i test for ovulation every month and always get a O, and then we do what we can do, and...nothin. a doc shined a light up there and did a ultra sound and she said there's no reason that i couldn't conceive, so i'm frustrated and confused. i am currently on a liver cleanse and have REALLY revamped my diet. i'm 236lbs and i want to get down to 190 or so- but i'm feeling optimistic after all of these posts.
you chicks know your stuff. it's amazing how much time i have spent reading over the past 5 years and then one day on this site and i feel like i've been living on mars. how have i never heard of this stuff?!
it's inspirational to hear of the babies that have come into the world and to see the love and support you all show each other.
