Hi SueAnn,
Just wondering if you were still on the Hyponidd. If so, how is it working for you?

I need some advice. I am 24 years old with PCOS. I think my last period was in March, though I am not sure cause I get them 2 maybe 3 times a year. I went to a gyno on campus (i'm a grad student) and was explaining whats going on now. Losing hair on head, getting hair on stomach, gaining weight, can't lose weight. etc. She recommended a reproductive endocrynologist. THis is great. I am finally going to get somewhere.

So here is my question. I started taking many different vitamins 3 weeks ago. Zinc, Mag, Bcomplex, Saw Pal, Chromium. I'm not noticing a differnence, yet-clearly. I do think I may be getting my period this week but that could just be because it has been so long since I last had it. Since I will be going to this endo, should I stop taking the vitamins and go in with a "clean" slate so I can know where I am difficent? My vitamin choices have really just been based on research and my own ideas of my body-not levels or hormones, etc taken by a Dr. What do you think I should do? Should I stop and build up from their with my Dr or should I keep taking them and tweak as Dr sees fit?

Thank you for you advice on this.

Hi Sue Ann! It was the hyponidd + 2000mg cinnamon that sorted me out! The hyponidd wasnt enough for me, but as soon as I added cinnamon I ovulated! My PCOS was BAD baring in mind. I wasnt able to get a period on my own and I had a beard thick as a mans and I was gaining weight out of thin air.

Im continuing all meds to keep hormones stable, Ive spoke to a few herbalists and they advised me too.
Thanks for the congratts!

They had me stop all the herbs I was on for 2 weeks before I went, but when you make your apt ask the secretary what their rule is. I hated stopping them, because then it messed me up. Just so you know, I take herbs too and it took me about 2 months to get to "a normal" pattern. When I stop them and start them back up, the whole process has to start over again. If you want to know more on what I do, please e-mail me. I do not come on here to check my mail much. Good luck and keep us posted.

Hey guys! I have been taking Cinnamon 1000mg for about a month now along with Hyponidd since August. I finished up the Spiro I was taking the first week of September and had a period 2 weeks later, probably still had Sprio in my system. Well guess what? I got my period today! Woo hoo! This is the first time I have got it on my own in a long time!

Wow, I am not interested in taking conventional medicines, so I am researching what you ladies are doing naturally. Any input would be great.
Thank You

Wink

Hi all, just thought Id drop a line as I'm pretty new to all this and after reading all the posts etc I've ordered and started taking Hyponidd a wk now and would like to know how everyone is getting on. Im also taking Cinnamon x 2000 & Sal Pal for about 3 wks. I suffer with non stop bleeds and after 2 days of taking the Hyonidd it stopped so Im really hoping its because of that and I'm on the road to normal cycles. Anyone else got good reports so far??

Question Met and Hyponidd?

So I am on the Met, after years of avoiding it. I have an excellent doctor, who's practice is mostly PCOS patients. She wants me to give the Met a try, so I will for awhile. I wondering if anyone takes the Hyponidd with Met, or is that not advisable? Any thoughts?

I dont know if you would go hypoglycemic on met and hyponidd carole Id be cautious, met should be enough to help you get to normal

COOPY that is great news! Any AF? Pregnancy is going well I saw baby on scan and he or she was stretching and kicking and sucking thumb. I cant believe we created this miracle! Im 11 weeks and 3 days today

doesn't have to be weights, can be stability/balance based training
Anything that challenges and strengthens the muscles - pilates even, I believe.

Not that I get off my butt and excercise much ... am trying to do more than just walk. I think if I Did the 90 minutes a day I'd be SOOO well. But I also think I'd have to already be SOOO well to DO the 90 minutes! I barely get 20 minutes of any sort of activity done a day ...
