I've known and worked with heaps of skinny b*tches over the years that just looove to bang on about how "fat" they are and pull up their shirts to show you a completely fat tummy and grab it and say how fat it is **roll eyes** I got to the point where I wouldn't do the whole "ohhh no, you're not fat" blah blah because they're just attention seekers and I can't be bothered with that crap! lol.
I've had my fair share of crappy comments made to me, mainly from my Mum and my Nana unfortunately. Both of them are weight obsessed. Also one of the best friends said to me a few years ago "well you are fat", I nearly decked him! A-hole!
I had a bloke say to me "ya know I'd do you if you were thin" yeah ok buddy, I would touch you with a barge pole! He was r-e-v-o-l-t-i-n-g.
I've had people see photos of me when I was younger (like 13!) and say "wow look at you there, you had a great body" yep thanks, clearly its pretty awful now hey.
I had a friends brother say to me when I ran into him at a pub years ago "OMG you've got so fat, you need to lose weight, I can help you" (he's a Naturopath) How I didn't punch him in the gob I'll never know, and the stupid thing is he's never been a slim jim!!
And yeah like most of us here I've had many doctors say "you just need to lose weight, you're too fat" without doing ANY tests or checking anything, just make the assumption that because you'e overweight, therefore it's you're own fault and pi$$ off and deal with it.
I've had doctors tell me (first time when I was 19!) to 'just have a baby, that will sort your periods out' WTF?? Even my partner cannot believe how much my weight fluctuates, he's pretty good about it thank god, but I know he would prefer if I was a little slimmer. Doesn't help though when I'm at his place and he's always saying "eat more" **roll eyes**
People really have NO idea what havoc this stupid illness can have on you, I feel like I need to print off the info on it and hand it out to all the ignorant arseholes in the world lol
