I'm afraid it's all going to fall on the same day. What would happen if I needed to go to the Dr's office at the same time as the court date? I'm also feeling a little overwhelmed right now because it seems that everything is falling within the same week. Everyone and their brother are on vacation at my job that week so that would mean me having to be off unexpectantly one day to have my IUI done. I've thought about postponing it until Aug when things are a bit slower at work. Please give me some advice ladies....I'm freaking out here!!!!!!!!! Typically these trials don't take long, and the attorney can probably pin it down to an hour or so, leaving the rest of the day free for your appt. You may also want to talk to your dr's office to see if they can be flexible with you should they need to. If you end up not Oing on that day, then you can show up as planned originally.

My Mood: Points: 3,810.70 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 3,810.70 | Hi Holland, is this ur 1st IUI ? They don't take to long...U bring in the SA and wait maybe 30 minutes for them to spin it, then the actual IUI only takes 5 minutes, then u'll lay there with ur butt up for 15/20 minutes then be on ur way, so depending on how far the Dr office is u should be back to work in an hour. And concerning the court hearing, find out the time and try to schedule the IUI around it , if u can....
But if u can't then don't stress and do it Aug when u have more free time, cuz u do want to try and be stress free b4 and after the IUI.
Good Luck on whatever u decide To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

So not only could it fall on that day but we also have traveling we would need to do to get there. I know they don't take too long since I've already had 2 done before. I would call the attorney if there was one listed. However it's the state suing the girl that got hit by the car.
I just don't know what to do To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. I really want to have the IUI done this month. I keep thinking about what duffey said. I have thought about sitting down and talking to my manager and saying that I will be having a procedure done this month and that I'm going to need the day off.

I'd call the DA, and tell them the situation. They'll be able to give you more information about it. I think submitting a letter with your testimony should be sufficient enough.

I didn't feel like it was worth my time or trouble sitting in court for God knows how long, just to talk to the DA for 2 minutes. Someone stole my car tag, and they finally caught the guy, I didn't care what they charged him with, I just wanted my money back that I spent replacing it and for the police report I had to buy to get a new tag.

Inform the court that you have a medical appointment you can't miss or reschedule if they happen to fall on the same date. They shouldn't need to know what the appt is for - the same goes for your work. It should be a confidentiality issue... Your doc can give you a slip if you need proof. IUI's have to be done with proper timing so it really is an appt you can't miss, especially if you've been taking anything at all to help with your cycles.
