Default Success!!

This is my 7th day using natural progesterone cream and I got my period! I hadn't had one for 4-5 months prior! I literally ran out of the bathroom to tell my DH.. LMAO!

Okay, so since this is my first time, do I stop the NPC now that I have my period? When do I start it again?

congrats!! I'm also starting the NPC cream (this will be day #3). I tried it the end of march but nothing happened. I believe I might not have used enough at each application, or didn't use it for enough days, so I'm trying again. When you bleed you're to stop using it. Then start again after you stop bleeding. Isn't it funny how we're now getting excited to get our period? lol I'm really really hoping it works this month for me. I haven't had mine since last August (I think). My doc gave me Provera last Dec but it didn't really bring on a full period. Just spotted for about 10 days and bled for only one. I'm desperate to get AF back, so I'm really hoping this works. Congrats again

Whitney - Stop applying NPC when AF arrives (but make sure it's proper red AF flow, not just spotting as it might not start properly if you stop. Start applying again, either on CD 14 of your next cycle or if you're ttc apply it 3 dpo after confirmed O has been known to stop O from happening if taken before. If you're not ttc, then apply it 14 days on 14 days off, to bring on AF and keep you regular.

Ange - sometimes NPC takes some ladies a few rounds before it brings on AF, me being one of them, I think it worked the third time I used it after trying a different brand...and then it made me O rather than start AF...I then had AF two weeks after that. Since using it I have been Oing on my own...though late...so I think it's helped to kick start some sort of cycle. As you say, maybe up the dose a little to the maximum amount it says in the instructions and keep applying it for 14 days or until AF come, whichever is first. Hope it works for you soon

Forgot to say...also if you are ttc and are using NPC then only stop using it at the end of the 14 days if you get a BFN (test before stopping) as stopping it can cause a m/c...if you get a BFP keep using it until you get to the dr to get other progesterone support.

So, I just want to make sure that I'm absolutely clear as to how this works. I'm NOT TTC and want to try NPC to regulate my cycles and bring on AF. I should use NPC for 14 days (or AF) and then stop for 14 days and then start again. Thank you for any help.

This sounds interesting!
What brand is it and where did you buy it?
