Default Success with Organic Foods?

I have had much success after following Dr. Lee's suggestion (What your Dr. may not tell you about Pre-menopause) with the use of Natural Progesterone Cream. (Happy of mother of twins!!) My question is has anyone switched to organic produce/milk and natural cleaning products and seen any improvement in their overall health?

I have switched to all organic dairy and eggs and occassional fruits and veggies. I did this at the same time I started met. I don't know if its the met or the fact that I am missing out on all the anitbiotics in the dairy, but I have been pretty much sick for the last 5 months straight! Cold after cold after infection and so on.

Maybe my immune system is just shot- dunno. Would love to ehar if anyone had sucess on organic.

My cousin has PCOS and endometriosis and suffered from disabling chronic pain for 2 years b/c of the endometriosis. 1 month after she switched to all organic and hormone free food her pain was GONE. 2 months later she was pregnant with my goddaughter Arwen. I am slowly switching to organic myself--DH is giving me a hard time bc its more expensive.

Default success with organic foods

I recently started eating mostly organic vegan foods and I think that they make my herbs and supplements work better! Several books and sources have recommended going organic, such as Dr. Lee, the books that Collette Harris writes (can't think of the names of them off hand), info through the American Botanical Pharmacy, and a bunch of other online sources I've read. Most of all, it just MAKES SENSE to me.

The cost is a little more for organic produce, but I rationalize this by knowing that I am really "casting a vote" with my cash by supporting organic farming methods with my purchases. I would much rather have my grocery bill go towards farmers giving the soil back what it needs, rather than the high chemical fertilizer/pesticide use of modern cultivation practices.

Although I buy as many types of organic produce as is available, I'm still working on replacing my other household items with organic versions. My next steps are to replace my makeup, toiletries, haircare, and skincare products with natural versions because the toxins absorb directly through the skin. Then I'll replace cleaning and household products as well.
