Default Success with yoga?

I've been using yoga on our Wii Fit but I'm interested in getting more in depth. Can anyone recommend a good way to get started? I don't really have time to go to classes so I'd prefer something at home.

TIA!

I would pick-up a DVD, you can probably even check them out of your library, that way you can try different ones and won't get bored with the same thing. Another thing I tried is bellydancing, holy hard but man was it a GREAT ab workout. The good thing about a class is you learn the pose properly, it is easy to misjudge the way a pose should be. I took a weekly class for about 8 weeks now I do on my own.

I've been trying to make time even if once a week. Some weeks I don't make it. I find that reducing my stress level and doing something for me helps my mood. And reduces my stress which I hope will reduce the amount of hair falling out!

Taking an 8-week class and then practicing at home sounds like a great idea!

Thanks, ladies. The library idea is great. Although my situation is a little odd - my sister-in-law is a librarian so every time I go in there she's like "What's this for" "What are you doing". One day I'm either going to punch her face or tell her to F off!

LOL- that's a whole other therapy session! Thanks ladies!!!

I live in suburbs of Chicago and I can use my library card at other local libraries, possible you could do the same. Good way to avoid Ms Nosey

Many DDoggies, lost my best doggie friend Daisy a few months ago. Weird how that REALLY turned on my mommy feelings into overdrive. Daisy was 11 1/2 and will missed forever.

I have a DVD "yoga4fertility" and I like it. I use it because I haven't found a good class that I want to make time for. I have gone to classes in the past though and I think they give you good baseline knowledge to do the DVD's at home. Good luck with your yoga!! It really helps center you!

Check out Yogamazing.com. He has a free video-podcast that is really good.
Also try yogatoday.com. Some of the practices are maybe a little too advanced if you are a beginner but they have simple stuff, too.
