I've been taking Met for 3 months. I got a fasting insulin test done last Thursday, and the results came back normal (4.6 mmo/L, Canadian values), but for the past 2-3 weeks I've been so exhausted! I take a multivitamin and B complex every day. Eating a lot of carbs makes me feel like crap, so I've been trying to eat high protein. The only time I don't feel tired is when I'm eating constantly, but I don't have the time or the money for that. And even if I did, all I want to eat is fruit LOL. Is it possible I need to up my vitamins, or is it my diet?
Thanks!

When I am on met, absolutly anything sweet makes me tired. Including fruits and natural sugars. I am almost instantly knocked on my butt. I've had to start eatting a lot of whole grains and using artificial sweetners. I can only eat fruit once in awhile and I have to eat it with something else, I can not eat it by itself because it will either make me sick or very tired. For example, I had a 10 grapes as a snack a couple weeks ago, I went to go sit down while I waited for something to cook on the stove for dinner before my DF got home and the next thing I know one of my friends is knocking on the door and my pan is boiling over. *WHOOPS* Suppose I should be more careful. Well the side of my bottle does warn me, guess I didn't realize it would react quite like that.
Well, Good Luck!!
BABY DUST!!
