Hey Y'all!
I thought this could be a good place to tell others about the sugar substitute products that actually taste good. I noticed some people outside the States don't have that many choices. Maybe from the recomendations on this list, you can request these products be carried at your local grocery store or speciality food store. You never know unless you ask right?
I love ice cream. Love it love it! But the sugar free alternatives always left something to be desired. I tried Dreyer's No Sugar Added Mint Chocolate Chip and it is just as good as the real deal! Its sweetened with Splenda and some sugar alcohols. I think the mint flavor cuts into any after taste you usually have from artificial sweeteners. Its about 100 calories, 4.5 grams of fat, 15 total carbs, 8 net carbs and 3 grams of protein. I'm a very, very happy camper!
