Question suggestions!!!!!

Hello everyone!!!!
Maybe someone can help. I have to wait almost 4 months to get into the only specialist that we have here.
Is there anything herbal that i can buy over the counter for fertility.... My family dr said that he is probably going to make me try for another 18 months before they try me on any meds.
So any suggestions would help alot....thanks

I'm not sure what to buy over the counter, but my family doctor told me to wait a while to conceive on my own, but after 12 mos I decided to go to a fertility specialist. Maybe if you could afford to, that could be an option?

Were you very irregular before taking black cohosh? How much did you take. I'm getting really conflicting doseage info. The bottle says 3 times daily and it says each pill contains 500mg. That seems to be way more than other listings. Also, I have read much negative stuff regarding liver damage, etc.........did you have any problems related to taking black cohosh?

Thanks in advance for any help...............I'm getting desparate and the medical community is on my last nerves.

I had been very irregular for several years and the doctors I'd mentioned it to had not been at all concerned. Then I had the 'great neverending period' for 6-7 weeks and started taking the BC. At about the same time I was diagnosed with PCOS. These are the ones I took:

http://www.goldenglow.com.au/product...ProductId=4851

It's an Australian mail-order company, but I think it's the same strength in most places.

I used two/day for the first month, and had lots of ewcm and twinges and then a regular AF. If I remember rightly, the lp was a bit short, but hey... I then took one/day till the bottle was finished. It also fixed the hot flashes I was having. I didn't have any problems with it.

Wow, after the black cohosh "fixed" your cycles, you didn't need it anymore??? That's awesome.

The link you had there............is just like what I just bought.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I do not know where I would be sometimes without this board and all the wonderful people and their experiences!!!

I know everyone responds to everything differently, but it's worth a chance. My body is struggling to do something since being on low carb.............it's definitley going through some "shifts"..........so why not shake it up a bit more.

My cycle was good for the rest of the year (it was February that I started the BC). I was doing pretty well with diet and exercise during the year so that probably helped, too. Towards the end of the year, the diet and exercise got very slack and my cycle started going off again and the hot flashes returned. I took the BC again and the diet is coming good too - just need to get back into the exercise. I am regular and hot flash free again now.

Could you please tell me the botanical name of Black Cohosh? My translation programme does not give me the German name. Maybe I can find a mail order company.

Some sources say Cimicifuga racemosa, some say Actea racemosa.
