Lightbulb Summers Eve

I know this may seem a bit weird but I have been using summers eve cleanser on my face. My sister told me about it, she uses it on her face and she told a girl at her work about it that had acne and it cleared hers up after using it, So I gave it a go.
I have been using it in the morning and at night and it does seem to help with healing of acne and with cystic acne. I still have alot of very small whiteheads but I have only been doing it for a week. Seems to make sense with it being ph balanced and it washes off easy ( which I like ) I do not like the heavy washs that take forever to rinse.
Anyways if anyone want to jump on the bandwagon and give it a go. Let me know if it works for you also

I used that before a couple times on my face and i used the extra sensitive kind.lol. I love this site, what we can share!!!! anyhow, I am willing to give it a go, and start up trying it again, if its gentle enough for down there, and anti bacterial enough to get you really clean I assume it would be areally good thing to use on the face. I have been using yonka gel nettoyant and it is similar in texture to summers eve, so maybe it would have more antibacterial properties? since i only used it once or twice on my face , i couldnt really say weather it had a positive effect on my pimples. I will start with it tonight and ppost back in a week or so to report the results.

HMMMM....Never heard of this before. I have tried vinegar a few times, but had to give that up, because of the smell and it made my face burn some. Do you use the Summer Eve wipes they have out or is this the bottle with the wand on it and you squirt it on your face? I think if I were to try it I would have to see if the Summer Eves wipes would work. What do you use and how often? Does it make your face feel real clean & fresh?

Doesn't the summer's eve line have more than one variety of products? I would be interested in knowing which one people (I assume women even if PCOS is not in play) are having good results with.
My mind also went to the vinegar. I think there is a vinegar and water formula or there used to be.

I have tried vinegar on my face. Full strength is too strong (stings / turns skin red/makes eyes water just from close proximity) and SMELLY. Diluting with water works pretty well and I am not very careful about the proportions. Something else that I like to use instead of plain water is Rose Water that I buy at the Middle Eastern Grocery store. It smells great by itself and it does cover part of the smell of the vinegar and to me it seems to soothe the stinging effect of the vinegar better than plain water.

BTW a few drops of rose water (it is pretty concentrated) in ice water with a little stevia is my new favorite beverage. I keep one bottle for the refrigerator and one bottle for the bathroom - I think it is about $2.50/bottle and a bottle goes a long way.

I think the summers eve wash is what it best to use , the gel liquid, in place of your normal face wash, makeup remover. I used it last night , i used the sensitive skin one and it did a good job of removing my mascara and face makeup. i washed my face 2 times, once to remove makeup and then another repeat wash to get all the left over oil and sebum. the second time it actually latherd pretty well. just really have to keep those eyes closed though.lol. any how this morning no new pimples and my jaw zits seemed to be drying out. so far so good, no allergic reactions either.

okay i have kept usuing it and so far no new acne, at least no cystic or whiteheads. i still have closed pimples though so i added proactive every other day. so far im getting pretty clear, it works well the summers eve for a pre wash to get all the make up off. if i get too dry i will just use the summers eve.

This is such an interesting idea! I think I might go out and get some to try it out. I would so LOVE to have less acne...

wow ironically since i have stopped using it now i have like a bunch of big zit cysts on my chin. i switched to aveeno because i just got annoyed or felt so plain using vaginal wash on my face everyday. so im gonna start up again and see if they clear. maybe the summer eve stuff is good on cysts.

I am going to give this a try as well. I don't have facial acne, but I sure do have a lot of upper body acne!

I will post back with any changes.
