Default Sun sensitivity

Has anyone had hieghtened sun sensitivity on met? I have a very dark tan after spending two evenings outside in the shade wih protection.
I have never tanned before in my life and cannot understand how I am so brown. I recently started my met again and wonder if this has anything to do with it.

Hmmmm....maybe it does. That is a great question! Actually, everyone has commented on how dark I look this year.....after just a few trips to the tanning bed (please no negative comments!) and several days out in the yard. Maybe it does have an effect on the skin being more sensative to the sun? I don't think that is listed as a possible side effect.

For some reason I thought it was a possible side effect but now I am googling I am not finding anything and I don't have an info sheet to check.

Makes me wonder because I am always very pale.

Hey Ladies -- I believe that it most definitely is a side effect of the Met. I definitely read it somewhere and have experienced this phenomenon for myself. Normally, I would be delighted about this - but since I just started laser hair removal, having color is not really a good thing, LOL. Do you ever feel like you just can't win?

Make sure to get yourselves some good sunblock and watch that sun intake!

This is interesting. I've noticed this also this year. I have a major farmer's tan and watch line that I don't usually get. I'm glad I saw this thread. I believe it is connected.

Ha a farmer's tan- I have never heard that expression before and that is exactly how I look which is a huge change for me as I am very careful to avoid the sun.
Good luck with the laser meta888 I've been there! Sun block and sun visor but its lovely and worth it not having to wear ANY makeup other than sun block the next summer when the hair goes.

Hum this is eithe rmetformin or global warming!

ITA-- that the met has something to do with the sun.. Now that you say it.. I am much darker then normal.. Normally when i get some sun, it peels then goes away. Nope not this year, I am tan! So for me yes I like this benefit....
