well, traditionally doctors tell you to start either on Sunday (so it's easier to remember), or the first day of your period, regardless of the day of the week. All in all, it doesn't matter, as long as you start it on the same day of the week each month and you take it at approximately the same time (within 2 hours) each day. Also, if you do want to start on Sunday (or whatever day is most convenient for you), as opposed to the first day of your period, make sure you use backup birth control for the first 2 weeks. Hope I helped!

Good luck

Molli

Neither one! Pick Thursday! For me starting on Thursday makes my period start on Sunday or Monday afternoon. This makes it done by Thursday or Friday, and I'll never have it on a weekend. Just another option of course lol. Saturday and Sunday would make my period start on Thursdays and on the weekend I'd be right on the heaviest part. Its hard to enjoy weekends with cramps and heavy bleeding! I'd much rather put up with it during the week. This of course may be different for you.

This may not help but it might give you a different perspective.
