They are low in carbs high in protein and contain magnesium which is important for healthy bones and turning food into energy.Great as a snack.
I have a handful in my porridge every morning along with some pumpkin seeds.

Seeds and Nuts are supposed to be very heart healthy foods. Just make sure they aren't salted or are very lightly salted. Some of them have way too much salt!
