Post sunscreen suggestions?

for those of us who are using acne treatments (salicylic or glycolic acid, retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, etc), what is your preferred sunscreen?

i'm on a search for the perfect sunscreen. i have tan/brown skin, so i need something that won't leave me looking like a mime. i also don't want something that will leave me shiny, or is too thick/goopy and requires work to rub in. plz, any recommendations?

Hello,
I have found that Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Face sunscreen works really well for my acne prone, oily skin. I have also tried the Neutrogena sunscreen with "dry something"(sorry I forget the technical name!) and it did not work well under my foundation, it left a funny layer that looked disgusting even after letting it sink in for a good while. The regular Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Face sunscreen works much better for me and I use it every day as I have a lovely case of Melasma to go with my already acne and scared skin!

I have had really great success with the Neutrogena "Dry" stuff. It is great for keeping up a matte look. I have not had any rashes with it, and I get rashes from pretty much every single sunscreen!

For an all over sun screen, neutrogena makes sheer formulations that work well. As for a daily facial moisturizer, I would sugest prescriptives ALL YOU NEED which is an oil absorbing lotion with spf 15 (mabe 25). It also moisturizes, but won't break you out. It works to balance out your skin. It is a little pricy ($45), but worth every cent! A bottle will last about 3-6 months with daily use. I also use Prescriptives LINE PREVENTOR EXTREEM which repairs damaged skin with antioxidents and protects against environmental stressors. It is safe to use after layzer hair removal and minor surgical procedures. It wont break you out, and it really does work wonders. I call it my "ambrosia!" I also have acne so I feel your pain.

I just rely on my mineral makeup. It seems to do the job, and titanium dioxide/zinc oxide blocks both UVA and UVB rays. Every sunscreen I tried on my face seemed to make me break out and clogged my pores.

Dermalogica Matte Sunblock is also great...keeps skin matte and doesn't stink too much!
