Hi all,
My name is Chris. I'm new here and just wanted to let anyone in the massachusetts area know that there is a GREAT doctor who will take your PCOS SERIOUSLY in Worcester, MA. Her name is Dr. Wendy Bergman and she's at the Fallon Clinic on Plantation street. The phone number is 1-508-852-0600. She was the one who diagnosed me and she does NOT let any complaints, symptoms or problems go overlooked, unnoticed or undertreated!
In fact, I recently complained of ovarian pain and she sent me right in to do an ultrasound (I had one when I was first diagnosed two years ago which showed no cysts, but due to my severe weight gain of 80lbs she diagnosed me with pcos and put me on metformin right away and literally saved my life!)...and sure enough, I have a cyst on my right ovary. She's not in the office today, but she's going to call me monday to let me know if I'll need surgery.
So, if anyone out there is frustrated and in the area DEFINITELY GIVE HER A CALL...she's by no means a PCOS EXPERT, but she's a
BRILLIANT DIAGNOSTICIAN and she knows a HELL of a lot more about women's medicine and health than ANY doctor i've ever had in my life. In addition to this she's the kindest, gentlest and most supportive doctor you will ever meet! I'm blessed to have found her. Even though I live 80 miles round trip now from her I still go to her, that's how much I love this woman!
