I can highly recommend Dr Stephanie B Seminara. She is awesome and really take her work seriously. I have been on Metformin for almost three years now, and I feel great.

I just saw one of her colleagues, Dr. Yialamas.
Same office info. as above. She was absolutely great. I feel like I'm being helped for the first time. That entire office is wonderful.

Thanks for the info on the Boston Doctors - Dr. Seminara and Dr. Yialamas- Are they
only fertility specialists or can one go to them for PCOS- I am not trying to get pregnant and my PCP will not refer me to a specialist- Currently my PCP is doing nothing and I need help with PCOS?
That entire clinic looks great! There are SO MANY specialists in PCOS there on 55 Fruit St. Sadly my PPO doesn't cover Dr. Yialamas, but I made an appointment with Dr. Seminara. Thanks so much!
I just got an appointment with Dr. Seminara on 12/12 and cannot wait to hear what she says. To Nicole 47: If you go before 12/12, please feel free to e-mail me at gibby04@verizon.net and let me know how it goes and what to expect!!
Hi-- I bet I saw you in the waiting room (there were multiple people there so I was a little nervous about asking "Are you spooky?"). I didn't start my appointment until 2 even though I was there at 1:10pm. I'm not really sure what to make of the appointment-- even with the million bad things affecting our fertility she just said the same thing the gyn said last August-- we'll do a round of clomid (but not until February, after DH does another SA). I had to ask for an IR test. I wonder if she's not used to seeing thin cysters (and I wasn't thin before I got diagnosed with PCOS!!! I've been not eating refined carbs like crazy since then). How was your appointment?
