I'll go first. I'm at 5'8" and 188 pounds, and whenever I try to diet, my guy friends buy me things to prevent me from becoming 'anorexic.' Mind you they're 6'4" and really athletic. They have good intentions, but they make this so much more difficult. I've lost 10 pounds this year around them, and that's a lot slower than what I'm used to. I'm joining a volleyball team in March, which lasts to about the beginning of June, but that doesn't help me right now.

I'm 5'6" and 132 lbs. I know that by basically all "standards" I am not overweight but, I have a small frame and when I was still dancing and at my healthiest I was a little under 112 lbs (usually between 105-110). In the past couple years I have gained 20 lbs because I quit dance and basically all other forms of exercise, and I have the worst eating habits in the world. I get sick easier now and I'm just generally not healthy. Basically my goals are to lose the fat and gain back muscle. I keep a journal (link in my sig) that I update daily with what I did that day and what my goals are. I'm starting out with running and I'll be doing the IR diet.

im 14 stone something have been dieting for a week and 1 day and have lost 3 pounds and gained then back after a night out. i need to learn to control cravings and learn to eat healthy stuff i like fruit and veg and i am active with sports and walking but i guess being ir doesnt help nor snacking oh im 5'5 frame

Jess!! Good Luck on the controling of cravings.
It is still something that I have a hard time with. But I struggle to get better everyday!

So far, my weight has not changed. I'm a little upset because my weight loss goal date is coming up and still no change. Wish me luck girls

I've never posted here, but I'm having exciting success, so I've decided to give you an update!

To start off, I'm 5'2" - 5'3" (I'm not exactly sure), and at the end of last summer I was 176 pounds. I was completely shocked because I hadn't weighed in a while, and I had gained 20 pounds just since the start of summer! During the beginning of school I started exercising more (that's my biggest problem, lack of exercise.) After a month, I hadn't lost ANY weight. I was frustrated and just quit exercising again. But then after being diagnosed with PCOS and put on the medicine I still didn't really exercise much (It was CHRISTMAS, what do you expect?)
After Christmas, I was 172 lbs (I had already dropped some just because of the medicine.)
In January, I started walking (it's a trail, I think it's around 3-4 miles or something) 4 days a week, and when I weighed at the end of the month, I was down to 167. This morning I weighed again and I was down to 165! I want to get down to around 140, so wish me luck!

hey, im new here. [:
let see.. im sixteen, im 5'7'' and as of this morning i was 216 lbs. :[ im deff overweight, and im currently getting bloodwork done so that i can start on meds for my PCOS. i have being trying to lose weight for about a year now, and when i started i was 242lbs, so i am making some progress but not as much as i would like. hopefully once i get everything figured out with PCOS, it will be easier for me to lose weight. i need to be atleast 170lbs to be healthy. [im built big]. ive always had a really hard time losing weight, but hopefully it will get a little easier.

i like meeting new people, so maybe i'll get some great friends out of this. [:
