Question Surgery advice needed

Hi,
I am 24 and was diagnosed with pcos 3 years ago. I recently had a lap to see if i had any damage on my tubes from undiagnosed chlamydia after months of severe abdo pain. Luckily no damage was found, but i'm doing all my dr suggests to aid my pain but nothing is working. My doctor has said i can have some of my ovary removed as its the size of it causing my pain. But he said this can produce scar tissue which may interfere with my fertility. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience of this?? or any other type of surgery. I don't really know if i want kids but i don't want the choice to be taken away from me but i cannot cope with the idea of being in so much pain!!
Help!!!
Rachel xx
