I really wanted to post a poll...hope I'm doing it right. I think most of us suffer from various PCOS side effects, and was wondering about a theroretical situation...if you could get rid of ONE PCOS side effect, never to return, what would it be? Besides fertility/baby issues. Just curious! Mine would be my energy/fatigue.

The weight for me. I'm working on getting rid of it, but we all know how hard that is. If it would go away and never come back, I think I could deal with the rest.
I chose acne as it really effects my self confidence and makes me not want to go out. My weight issues aren't too bad luckily *touches wood* although it's hard to be strict with diets so it doesn't get out of control but as it's semi under control at the moment, I choose acne. x

My first thought was hair, then I changed my mind and voted on weight. For me losing even a small amount of weight helped my other symptoms. Electrolysis had reduced the facial hair to next to none. My acne can be brought under control with meds. So, weight the symptom I'm currently battling is the one.

of all the things, you know the weight yah it's a big one for me, and losing my hair, and the facial hair, brain fog and skin issues ya those are all big things to me. but i think the biggest would have to be that i don't ovulate.......sadly, and i don't think i ever will......so if i could just get rid of one thing of pcos, it would be the lack of ovulation.
sorry missed the besides infertility issue.....well then i would love just to have a slightly normal period with out medicaiton.
